To me, more than creating the art itself, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is sharing my passions with others.
My name is Tony Wilkins, I am a self Taught artist in the sense that I never attempted to further my education in the arts in any traditional way. That being said, my teachers in this life are innumerable. I like to think we move through Art the same way intuition moves through us.

  focusing primarily on family portraiture, I started Undertone Artistry in 2019.  Since then my work has extended itself into my love for music and nuance. Alot of the musicians I’ve appreciated over the years have ended up on canvas. My original works can seem vague, just as I’ve intended them to. In most cases I’ve found that the spectrum of emotion invested is too broad to be specific. 

  Today, I sell commissions and prints of my charcoal and watercolor artwork throughout the greater DMV area, at the music events I play, in local businesses, as well as online.
